Each year Walnut Island opens its doors for fundraisers and memorial gatherings that matter to the Outer Banks community. Staff prepare for busy nights when motorcycle rides and tribute events bring hundreds of supporters to Grandy.

Recent calendars have included the Navy SEAL Tribute Ride and Operation Red Wings Memorial Service, along with the Outer Banks Bike Show. These events raise funds and give families a place to gather with food, music, and waterfront views.

If you are organizing a charity dinner or ride stop, call 252-453-2261 early so we can coordinate kitchen timing, bar service, and lodge room blocks. Smaller groups can also use our contact form to start the conversation.

Community on the sound

When you dine with us on a regular weekend, you still support a locally owned lodge that reinvests in these annual traditions. Ask any team member about upcoming dates when you are in the dining room.
